mission

Develop research in education, in both school and non-school environments, functioning as a vital support structure for innovative socio-educational projects and interventions.

Promote interdisciplinary networked research activities, leveraging digital technologies to foster collaboration and cooperation among researchers.

Intervene directly in the complex challenges of contemporary education, using interdisciplinary approaches and a commitment to practices based on the promotion of science and culture to drive human and social development.

CI&DEI aims to be a catalyst for transformative impact in education, focusing on sustainability and territorial cohesion.

Seeks to be a leader in promoting quality holistic education throughout life, considering pedagogical and cultural dimensions in multiple socioeconomic and territorial contexts.

This vision is driven by a culture of innovation, diversity, and social responsibility, supported by a socioconstructivist epistemological basis and a sociocritical approach that values knowledge construction through interdisciplinary research and social intervention anchored in professional expertise.

Strengthen the commitment to quality teacher training, focusing on reinforcing the connection between Practice and Theory, promoting interdisciplinarity and multiculturalism, encouraging learner-centered approaches, critically using digital resources and Artificial Intelligence, and stimulating the development of critical thinking.

Deepen the integration and territorial cohesion of education by conducting research on local approaches to learning and territorial asymmetries in teaching.

Promote environmental, social, and cultural sustainability through research.

RESEARCH
LINES

It focuses on research and intervention to promote inclusion, citizenship, and cultural diversity.
It addresses issues such as discrimination, migration, and cultural adaptation, with special emphasis on the study of accessibility and integration of people with disabilities and inclusion through sport.
Committed to inclusive education, it seeks to contribute to the understanding of social phenomena and to the promotion of educational practices that foster equality and active participation in society.

It aims to strengthen research networks and focuses on the development and application of knowledge in digital literacy, as well as on the creation of strategies and technological resources for both in-person and distance learning, in school and non-school contexts. It seeks to create a collaborative space that promotes advanced skills in the use of emerging technologies in education, such as Artificial Intelligence.
