Algolittle’s first goal is preparing a course programme and teaching materials to teach preschool teaching undergraduates how to reflect on algorithmic thinking
skills in all areas of preschool education and integrate it into the teaching and organization of the educational environment. The project also aims to contribute to closing skills gaps in ICT oriented teaching/learning activities for immediate impact on contemporary teaching skills of preschool teaching undergraduates and upskilling the academic staff of the partner universities related to the integration of algorithmic thinking skills into all subject areas focused in preschool education. The process wil be developed as a design-based research process, including several contributions from stakeholders and experts and a piloting process of the course and the materials.
