Typology of sessions and modalities of presentation of work

Proposals submitted in four modalities (research work, experience reports, artistic interventions and round tables) will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee and/or the Monitoring Committee of the X International Congress of Agroecology.

PLENARY SESSIONS:

Space for plenary lectures with guest speakers

THEMATIC SESSIONS

Space for sharing scientific work in oral and poster presentations

EXPERIENCE REPORTS

Space for sharing projects, actions and initiatives individual or collective

ARTISTIC INTERVENTIONS

Art installations, exhibitions, performances and other individual or collective initiatives

ROUND TABLES

Collectively organised space for debates between different people/experiences/research around common topics.

FIELD TRIP

Types of work

ORAL OR POSTER PRESENTATION OF RESEARCH WORK: to be submitted in the format of an extended summary (mandatory) regarding research work developed within the scope of the themes of the X International Congress of Agroecology, to be presented in the thematic sessions.

EXPERIENCE REPORTS: to be submitted in abstract or video format, referring to projects, actions, initiatives developed within the scope of the themes of the X International Congress of Agroecology.

ARTISTIC INTERVENTIONS: to be submitted in abstract or video format, referring to the intervention that is intended to be presented, which includes artistic installations, exhibitions, performances or other individual or group initiatives that address the themes of the X International Congress of Agroecology.

ROUND TABLES (proposals of topics to be addressed in participatory debate): To be submitted in abstract or video format, by a group of at least 4 people, of different nationalities and with different professions/activities within the scope of the themes of the X International Congress of Agroecology.

Works submitted in video format must follow the standards available in the VÍDEO STANDARS file accompanied by a DECLARATION OF CONSENT signed by the people who make up the video

Submission rules

  • Each first author may submit up to 2 work proposals.
  • Each participant may present up to 2 works at the congress.
  • There is no limit to the number of co-authors for works to be presented at the Congress (research work, experience reports, artistic interventions or round tables).
  • Only participants with paid registration will be able to present their work and will receive certificates of participation.
  • Works can be presented in Portuguese, Spanish or English.
  • ATTENTION: it is mandatory to use the template provided for the submission of abstracts whose authors wish to see them published in the conference minutes book
