The project is an integrated system for the promotion of mental health, focusing on students, seeking to integrate, systematize and consolidate a set of levels and types of intervention, activities and procedures, anchored in the Stepped-Care Model applied to mental health. As a joint initiative of the four regions of the Catholic University of Portugal (UCP) - Lisbon, Braga, Porto and Viseu, the project aims to meet the needs of UCP students, in terms of type, duration or intensity of interventions, contributing to:

(A) facilitating communication on mental health issues between students and the UCP;
(B) increasing initiatives for the promotion of mental health, prevention and early identification and signaling of mental health problems, articulating them with activities/projects and mental health services/professionals already existing at the UCP;
(C) systematizing procedures related to clinical assessment and intervention and referral, and defining specific itineraries, depending on the needs of students, with the aim of improving the quality of the responses provided.
