Regulation for submission of scientific abstracts

Objective

The purpose of this regulation is to guide participants in the submission of abstracts for this congress, promoting the quality and organization of the presentations.

Submission Criteria

Thematic Area: Abstracts must be related to areas related to the following lines of research

Educational Policies, Didactics and Training
Digital and Multimedia Technologies in Education
Health Education and Quality of Life
Education, Citizenship, and Inclusion

Originality: Abstracts must be original and not previously published
Language: Abstracts can be submitted in English or in Portuguese and English

Abstract Structure

Title: It must be clear and reflect the content of the work. Maximum 175 characters (including spaces).
Authors: Authors’ names, institutional affiliations, and contact emails.
Body of the Abstract:

Introduction: Contextualization of the theme.
Objective: Specific objectives of the study.
Methodology: Description of the methods used.
Results: Main results obtained.
Conclusion: Implications of the results and contributions to the area.

Keywords: Between 3 and 5 keywords that describe the content of the abstract.
Length: The abstract should be between 500 and 1000 words.

Submission Format

Only abstracts submitted according to the rules of the template (available soon)

Submission Process

Platform: Abstracts must be submitted through the online platform of the Congress (available soon)
Submission deadline: abstracts must be submitted by the announced deadline (March 31, 2025).

Evaluation of Abstracts

Scientific Committee: Abstracts will be evaluated by a scientific committee composed of experts in the field.
Evaluation Criteria:

Relevance of the theme
Clarity and coherence
Originality
Methodological quality
Contribution to the area

Evaluation Results: Authors will be informed about email acceptance of their abstracts by the stipulated date (April 30, 2025).

Presentation at the Congress

Presentation modalities: accepted abstracts may be presented in oral communication format.
Submission Instructions: Detailed submission instructions will be sent along with the notification of acceptance.

Final Provisions

Questions and support: Authors should email the congress organisation (events@sc.ipv.pt) with any questions or support during the submission process.
Changes: The congress organisation reserves the right to change this regulation, which will be communicated to the participants.

Observations

Participants whose papers are accepted must register and pay. Works whose authors have not registered and paid within the indicated deadline will not be included in the program
