O orador será o Professor Doutor Luis Martinez da NOVA SBE, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Associate Editor de diversas revistas internacionais e membro de vários conselhos editoriais.

O professor Luis Martinez é Associate Editor do Electronic Commerce Research (Springer), Electronic Commerce Research and Applications (Elsevier), International Journal of Consumer Studies (Wiley), Journal of Organizational Effectiveness: People and Performance (Emerald) e é membro do editorial board do Journal of Consumer Behavior (Wiley), Sustainability Accounting, Management and Policy Journal (Emerald), e do The International Journal of Human Resource Management (Taylor & Francis).

The European Green Week is an annual event organized by the European Commission to highlight and discuss environmental issues and promote sustainable initiatives.
The Green Week 2025 – Environmental Sustainability 4.0, emerges as a forum where innovative and necessary responses, discussing technologies such as computer science and artificial intelligence (Ai) to address environmental challenges. In the Green Week 2025, PV, it will take place the 5th Workshop – Towards Zero Pollution, organized by the Environment Department in collaboration with the Informatics Department. The event will take place at the School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic of Viseu (ESTGV-PV).

The European Green Week is an annual event organized by the European Commission to highlight and discuss environmental issues and promote sustainable initiatives. It serves as a platform for stakeholders to come together, exchange ideas, and showcase best practices related to environmental sustainability.

In Green Week IPV 2024 – Decarbonization and Sustainability, it will address these two key components of the European Green Week, reflecting the European Union’s commitment to promote the climate change and environmentally best practices. The European Union has set ambitious targets to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. Participants will share experiences and insights on transitioning to low-carbon technologies, renewable energy sources, and energy-efficient practices. An important collaboration will be held by IAPMEI-Viseu in joining companies and decision makers.

The 4th Workshop – Towards Zero Pollution, an international event at IPV, is part of the activities of Green Week IPV 2024, which will take place on June 3, 2024, in the auditorium of ESTGV (Superior School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic University of Viseu). Call for abstracts to select for oral or poster presentation until April 15th 2024. All accepted abstracts will be published in the Abstract book, which will be available on the event website.

Café Ciência “A Investigação científica: do IPV para o mundo”

A comemoração da Semana da Ciência e da Tecnologia irá decorrer a nível nacional entre 20 a 26 de novembro, para celebrar a ciência, a comunidade científica e o trabalho que se desenvolve para a sociedade.
Acolhendo esta iniciativa, e querendo deixar a nossa pegada, o IPV juntamente com os seus Centros de Investigação também irão promover uma ação, o Café Ciência “A Investigação científica: do IPV para o mundo”, pelas 17:30h no dia 21 de novembro, num evento híbrido, com duração previsível de 1 hora.
