Research line:
Education for Entrepreneurship and Sustainability
Polytechnic of Viseu integrated, together with 12 Polytechnics from the Network of Public Institutions of Polytechnic Higher Education, the Link Me Up Project - 1000 ideas, a Support System for the co-creation of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship (AAC no. 01/SIAC/ 2020 - Application no. 072070, funded by the COMPETE Program), which aims to develop more than 1000 ideas, in multidisciplinary and international co-creation processes between students, entrepreneurs and companies.
In line with the Competitiveness and Internationalization Operational Program (COMPETE2020), this project aims to "Promote the sustainability and quality of employment and support labor mobility" (Thematic Objective 8).
The main objectives of the project are:
- Increase the acquisition of transversal skills associated with entrepreneurship among young higher education students, such as: to think and question, to work in multidisciplinary teams, to solve complex problems, to deal/manage uncertainty, to change and manage change, to create and innovate in business contexts, to do things differently and with related competitive advantages, to create value for companies;
- Facilitate the context for understanding and testing the robustness of business projects, facilitating the co-creation of innovation for business renewal and promoting the acquisition of knowledge and skills on the phenomenon in focus on business challenges.
The implementation of the project is carried out through the Pedagogical Innovation Course - DEMOLA (not awarding a degree) in conjunction with the Finnish platform DEMOLA (demola.net) and in close connection with the Educational Innovation Project (POCH-04-5267-FSE- 000818, funded by POCH).
