This research project aims to identify the representations, practices, and aspirations that athletes, coaches, and officials have regarding the values and ethics of sports in general and in the context of orienteering sports in particular.
The study will focus on athletes, coaches, and officials residing in various regions of Portugal, to whom semi-structured interviews will be conducted.
The data resulting from the interviews will be analyzed using the content analysis technique, employing Nvivo 10.0 software.
The objective is that the findings of this research can contribute to the reflection on a theme still underexplored in orienteering sports and serve as relevant references for the design and implementation of projects related to the development of values and ethics in this sport.
