The 'Empreender e Crescer nas Beiras' project arises from the shared perception among its promoters of the need to improve the coordination and cooperation among the various agents promoting entrepreneurship and investment attraction in the Beiras and Serra da Estrela Region, in order to enhance the creation of new, innovative, creative, and internationally scalable companies.
\nThe 'Empreender e Crescer nas Beiras' Project is the ideal instrument to seize existing opportunities for territorial development and growth, countering current trends of desertification and disconnection among territorial agents supporting and promoting entrepreneurship and investment attraction.<\/p>\n

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE<\/h5>\n

With the current investment project, the partners aim to promote the entrepreneurial spirit of the Beiras and Serra da Estrela territory by fostering qualified and creative entrepreneurship, aiming to establish at least 30 new companies aligned with the regional strategy of smart specialization \/ RIS3. Having defined the strategic objectives as follows:<\/p>\n

\u2192 Promote territorial innovation by supporting entrepreneurial business solutions.
\n\u2192 Strengthen cooperation, partnerships, and support networks for qualified and creative entrepreneurship.
\n\u2192 Support the generation of innovative ideas leading to the creation of new companies with high competitive potential and internationalization.
\n\u2192 Develop a methodology for monitoring territorial entrepreneurship; and) Strengthen the capture of knowledge, generation of qualified employment and human capital, and the establishment of new entrepreneurial companies with high added value in the region.<\/p>\n

OPERATIONAL OBJECTIVES<\/h5>\n

The following operational objectives have been defined:<\/p>\n

\u2192 Energizing and coordinating the territorial agents supporting and promoting entrepreneurship and investment attraction;
\n\u2192 Collect, organize, standardize, and make existing information in the territory available;
\n\u2192 Creation of support actions and future monitoring to enhance entrepreneurship promotion and entrepreneurial spirit;
\n\u2192 Increase knowledge regarding entrepreneurship networks through benchmarking with two collaborative networks, one national and one international.
\n\u2192 Support the generation of innovative ideas leading to the creation of new companies with high competitive potential and internationalization, through the establishment of an ideas competition.
\n\u2192 Development of innovative information, support, and monitoring tools for entrepreneurial initiatives, facilitating the definition of appropriate and effective strategies for supporting entrepreneurship by territorial agents.
\n\u2192 Develop regional and national dissemination and communication campaigns
