REGULATION FOR SUBMISSION OF SCIENTIFIC ABSTRACTS

Papers that do not comply with the rules and preconditions below will not be accepted.

PREREQUISITES FOR SUBMISSION

Papers previously presented at national / international conferences and / or published in scientific journals will not be accepted;
Studies involving animals, or humans, should be conducted according to European rules on ethics in animal and human research. Explicit indication of prior approval by a local review committee, ethics committee or the like, which will need to be proved upon request;
Any conflict of interest should be made explicit by means of a declaration of interest;
The first author should confirm that all authors are aware of and approve the submission of the abstract.

RULES FOR SUBMISSION OF SCIENTIFIC ABSTRACTS

Only abstracts submitted online at http://events.ipv.pt/ojs/index.php/cmr/login, will be accepted, abstracts sent by email, post, or otherwise will not be accepted;
Only abstracts submitted according to the template rules (available english, portuguese and english) will be accepted;
Only abstracts in English, or in Portuguese and English will be accepted;
Simple language should be used and spelling errors avoided, which will be the responsibility of the authors. Unreviewed spelling may be a criterion for rejecting the abstract;
It should be indicated which of the authors will present the work, specifically the name, email address and identification of the origin institution;
The abstract cannot contain any reference to the authors, or the place where the study was performed, geographical region or institution, which allows to identify its origin;
Authors should classify their work on one of the following areas;
Authors should indicate the type of presentation intended (oral communication or e-poster), and it is reserved to the Scientific Committee to confirm or change the type of presentation when communicating the evaluation results to the authors;
The body of the abstract cannot exceed 250 words.

ABSTRACT RECEPTION INFORMATION

The receipt of the abstract will be confirmed by email to the submitting author.

REVIEW OF ABSTRACTS

Abstracts that meet the prerequisites and submission rules will be reviewed and evaluated by the Scientific Committee;
The submitting author will be informed of the decision via email by June 4th, 2021.

CONFERENCE PRESENTATION

The program will be available online with the presentation of works (date, time, room, title of the work and name of the presenter);
Each author may only be the author / presenter of two works, but may be co-author of other works.

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS

Each oral communication will have a maximum presentation time of 10 minutes, followed by 3 minutes for discussion;
Each oral communication should follow the template standards provided for this purpose education, technologies, health, agrarian sciences

E-POSTERS

The posters will be presented in e-poster format (education, technologies, health, agrarian sciences);
Posters must obey the following ratio, Larger side / Small side = 1, (77);
All posters will be presented on monitors with a 3840 by 2160 pixel resolution;
Posters should be sent to events@sc.ipv.pt by June 18th, 2021.
