The European Green Week is an annual event organized by the European Commission to highlight and discuss environmental issues and promote sustainable initiatives. It serves as a platform for stakeholders to come together, exchange ideas, and showcase best practices related to environmental sustainability.

In Green Week IPV 2024 – Decarbonization and Sustainability, it will address these two key components of the European Green Week, reflecting the European Union’s commitment to promote the climate change and environmentally best practices. The European Union has set ambitious targets to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. Participants will share experiences and insights on transitioning to low-carbon technologies, renewable energy sources, and energy-efficient practices. An important collaboration will be held by IAPMEI-Viseu in joining companies and decision makers.

The 4th Workshop – Towards Zero Pollution, an international event at IPV, is part of the activities of Green Week IPV 2024, which will take place on June 3, 2024, in the auditorium of ESTGV (Superior School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic University of Viseu). Call for abstracts to select for oral or poster presentation until April 15th 2024. All accepted abstracts will be published in the Abstract book, which will be available on the event website.
